Hamilton City Council’s Street Landscapes team is looking for a vibrant, experienced and qualified Gardener who’s not afraid to muck in and get their hands dirty while adding to the beauty of our growing city.
You will be part of a wider team working to maintain and develop Hamilton’s street landscapes area to make our city beautiful.
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day maintenance of the Council’s gardens, and ensure they comply with relevant standards and specific time frames. You will also assist with planting and other related tasks when required.
Our ideal candidate will have experience with garden maintenance and the use of mechanical machinery. To be successful, you must have a current Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence and Growsafe certificate.
The recruiting range starts at $24.00 per hour and is based on qualifications and relevant experience.
