Community Asset Information Coordinator

We need a process-driven data professional with an eye for detail and a talent for planning for growth and change in our city.

The Council’s Community Group is looking for someone who is passionate about process, quality, systems and data who can help look after Hamilton’s parks and recreation assets.

The Position

The Community Asset Information Coordinator will maintain and analyse a wide array of parks and recreation asset data in a way that is useful for decision making and the management of the assets. You will also be responsible for producing informative reports that help to identify opportunities for improvement, and for leading quality processes and implementing changes across the Community Group. Ensuring we have all the information we need to look after our community assets well and make Hamilton a great place to live.

To be successful you will have

  • Experience in information systems
  • Experience in managing asset data and the systems and methods to retain and report that information.
  • Demonstrated experience in asset management within large organisations
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Sound knowledge of asset management financial processes and functions
  • Solution focussed and positive approach to resolving issues and making enduring improvements 
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other parts of the organisation

The recruiting range for this role is from $70,000 per annum and will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
