We are after an experienced communications professional who can take the lead on engagement and deliver on effective behaviour change and community education actions from the Council’s Waste Management and Minimisation Plan (WMMP). You will be responsible for developing a range of educational resources as well as working closely with key stakeholders to communicate activities and initiatives which encourage Hamiltonians to minimise waste.
You will be familiar with creating compelling content, along with utilising up to date engagement strategies and communications plans. You must be a team player, have a positive and proactive attitude - and it would be a bonus if you have an interest in sustainability and the environment.
